Danielle Clément artiste peintre, artist painter

Born in Montreal, Danielle as a young women first study art at Sir Georges Williams. Later she was student at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and after at Montparnasse in Paris. Upon her return to Quebec she accepted a career in scientific illustration at the University of Montreal.

Tireless in pursuit of art Danielle continued to fine tune her work by an intensity of the study of watercolor with Jean-Paul Ladouceur, Maurice Domingue, Jacques Hebert and figure painting with Ayfer Gursoz.

Née à Montréal dans les années trente, elle a fait ses études artistiques à Sir Georges Williams. Ensuite pendant qu'elle résidait à New York, elle a étudié aux Musée d’Art Moderne et à Paris aux
Ateliers de Montparnasse. De retour au Québec, elle a fait carrière en illustration scientifique à l’Université de Montréal.

Par la suite, elle a étudié l’aquarelle avec Jean-Paul Ladouceur, Maurice Domingue, Jacques Hébert et le personnage avec
Ayfer Gursoz.
